Yet another threat from Mr. Worley

Here is what was received today:

Dear Sir on Madam,

My name is Mike Worley. I hold the copy write and trade mark for Safety Bullet. That name is being used in a derrogitory and defamitory way on the web site of www.whytheysafetybulletsucks.com .  Our corporate Attorney is filing suit in Federal Court in Atlanta to seek damages against the owner of that web site  using Federal  Protection provided for by Federal Law. The Attorneys anme is G. Michael Smith. The owerner of the web site is Paul Sullivan who resides in Panama City Florida. He has denied anything to do with the site yet most of the posts on the site are his. Previously on a Firearm Forum he stated he was the owner of that site.

If you could provide any information regarding the site it would be appreciated. Patent and Copy Right law is now an international right and is Internationally protected. Please let me know if I need to  direct our Attorney to file a motion for that information. If we need to hire an Attorney in Paris to do that we will. I intend on stopping this slander one way or another.

Mike  Worley CEO
Safety Bullet LLC

and here is the respond given to him:

Sir,
For the record, you do not own a copyright, just a patent that is not being infringed on this site.
The only thing that I can tell you is to do what you have to do.
Sincerely,
It should state “trademark”, not “patent”.
Also, Slander and libel are false or malicious claims that may harm someone’s reputation. Unlike what Stephen Colbert claims, corporation are not people, thus this cannot be slander.

Give it up Mike Worley

If this dumb bastard could just keep his mouth shut he would save himself a lot of troubles.  I bet Worley visits this site more than anybody else and I also bet this site gets more hits than his site does.

Useless waste of money

Do not buy into this dangerous device calling itself a “safety” device. Disabling a gun with a fake bullet is a death sentence.

Straight from the testimonial web page from Mr. Worley’s website:

Safety Bullet Hatters
Whythesafetybulletsucks.com

I discover this web site the other day and was surprise the loony toons theme did not play when I opened it up. Everything on it is a pure fabrication. If you will notice this person will not allow any positive information to be placed on the web site. Plus they will not give their name or how to have them served. Slander and Defamation of Character needs to be addressed in a court of law. I have many Safety Bullet owners who have attempted to place their positive comments on this web site but they were not allowed to leave their positive information.

Safety Bullet is a copyrighted name. They have used the name without my permission on the web site. As soon as we can find out who they are we will address these issues.

Every person who has ever tried to make a difference has had their hatters. Guess its kind of an honor for me.

Mike

Don’t flatter yourself, we are not doing this to honor you, but to REALLY SAVE LIVES!

Plus, I can call you a liar now, because not only have you posted messages here, but supporters of your product did as well like Mr. and Mrs. O’Leary.

On another hand, neither I nor any of my supporters can post anything on your website.

More from Mr. Worley

Today on a forum, Mr. Worley posted this:

Little Paul Sullivan made the web site whythesafetybullet sucks. He is a former employee of Safety Bullet who was fired. He has a Napolionic chip on his shoulder and is willing to slander, lie and defame this company. He has gone so far as to ignore trademark and copy right law which is a Federal Law. Can’t wait to see where all this winds up. Going to get very interesting.

Got cha

I thought you had found me already. It is not so difficult when you know that my name and address are on the registrar info. I am not hiding. But beware, where you can sue me, the justice system isn’t too keen on frivolous lawsuits.

And leave the poor Paul alone!

ETA: New comments from Paul Sullivan himself.

The “Safety Bullet” promotes bad practices, among other hazards.

Here are a few short scenarios for why this is more of a “Hazard Bullet” instead of it’s name the “Safety Bullet.”

Scenario one: You’re asleep at night and an intruder breaks in. In the heat of things you’re worried about moving your family into a central location and you grab your pistol with Safety Bullet already chambered, because that’s how people keep pistols. The intruder appears in the room your family is in, and he has a gun. Quick thinking has you point the gun and fire at the intruder, but now it’s locked up. What to do now? Now you have to ask Mr. Intruder guy if it’s ok for you to find the rod that came with the Safety Bullet so you can make your gun function again and use it on the intruder. In real life you pull it out, fire the safety bullet, the gun doesn’t work, and then he may shoot just you. If your family is lucky. Or he may murder your whole family. Who knows, but it could have been prevented if you didn’t have the Safety Bullet installed in your firearm.

Scenario Two: Everyone in your family now knows you have a Safety Bullet chambered in your gun while it’s at the house.

Just received this!
